Watching club president Martin Baker said: "Cuffley went for the physical approach but, to their credit,the team defended their hearts out when required and were deserving winners on the day.
"It is a great way of keeping in touch with some of our returning student contingent and I know that many of them enjoyed the experience and are keen to return.
