The Enfield Tigers and Welwyn U18s cluster added to the South-East regional cup success in March by lording the Plate final on Herts League finals day at Hertford RFC on Sunday April 26.
Up against a team comprising players from Harpenden, Stockwood Park, Watford, Datchworth and Hertford, the combined forces of the Enfield Tigers and Welwyn cut loose by storming their way to a 50-12 win.
It proved to be the second piece of silverware won by the Enfield Tigers the girls and women’s section of Enfield Ignatians, on the day, as the U14s won their age group plate final after mastering Hitchin 31-7 at the same venue.
Well on top in this game, the Tigers had a field day after outpointing their rivals 5-1 on the tries’ count.

Rounding off a great day were the U12s as they won their pitch up and play game.
(MINIS) The Enfield Ignatians’ minis section was also on the road at the weekend, with the U7s and U8s another case in point following their appearance at the Herts Festival, which acted as a magnet to over 50 teams and 800 plus players at Hitchin RFC.
The U10s section of the minis also had a great time of it, having being sighted at Saracens’ StoneX stadium 24 hours earlier after forming part of an undercard which preceded the home’s team heavyweight Prem clash against Leicester Tigers
