It's hard to believe that work on site only began on 11th November 2024. Behind all the safety fencing its been difficult to see the progress that has been made. But now the roof line is beginning to appear above the shrubs: in under three months!!
This has been a fantastic achievement and we have been well served by the main contractor but also and, more significant, a number of club members have sourced materials for the work to date and/or provided services for free.
The project is moving on at a pace. Within the next month we expect the new build to be watertight and internal work to have started.
I am really grateful to all those members who are lined up to provide support for the next phase but we need specific help.....Are there any painters out there?
We will need, spread over the next few months, members or friends who are competent with painting walls, ceilings and doors. We have been donated paint by local company and will need people apply it: ideally during the working day, but can be flexible.
