FIRSTS LOSE AND TWOS SECURE DEFAULT WIN
Enfield Ignatians lost to Belsize Park as the latter wrapped up the London Two North-West title after securing a 45-15 win at Donkey Lane (March 30th).
The blue and golds trailed 24-0 at the break but, a sterling second-half fightback, yielded a brace of tries for Carl Asare-Anderson, plus a last minute score from hooker Ben Mills.
Ignatians, a try shy of landing a losing bonus point, remain very much in the relegation mix as they prepare for the crucial season finale on Saturday (April 6th) when they are away to Grasshoppers.
The twos secured a 25-0 default win over Saracens Amateurs IIs in Herts-Middlesex Merit Table Two, as the Bramley Road side conceded the fixture.
