This event was organised to not only bring together the Enfield Ignatians RUFC community but also to raise much needed funds for the changing room extension. These funds will add to the club's match funding for the grant obtained from the RFU to promote Women’s Rugby World Cup in England in 2025.
The run was over 5kms and held in Enfield Playing Fields. Runners across the youth section, both boys and girls, participated along with parents and coaches. This was followed by a BBQ and a disco kindly set up and run by Henry Sibley and DJ Eliza.
Over 50 participants saw over £1500 raised and a good time was had by all, for some after a little lie-down and some liquid refreshment.
A really big thanks to all those who made this possible and were involved in the day, marshals, BBQ chefs, DJs, Bar Staff, Coaches who encouraged their players to enter and especially to those who ran. A special mention must go to the biggest fund-raisers on the day- Jess and Colin James, Charlie M, Arthur D-C, Logan P and Ollie Y.
