The Club are sad to announce the death of Jim Cooper who passed away recently.

In the late 80's and 90's Jim was a key member of the club, both on and off the field, as the club began to establish our credentials in North London. When his playing career on the wing for 1st XV came to an end, he took on the role as Club coach with some success. In May 1995 he coached the successful seven-a-side team on an invitation tournament to Spain (see photo) and the following season 1995 - 1996 the club were promoted from Middx Division 2.

Off the field, Jim realised the importance of the club having its own Headquarters and was a key member of the group which had its ambition realised when the President of the RFU opened the club's first new building in October 1989.

Jim was always a proud family man and leaves behind his daughter Dee.

The funeral will be held at Enfield Crematorium at 12.00pm on Friday 4th September, followed by drinks at the Stag & Hounds, Bury Street West,N9 9JW.
