The first President’s Lunch of the New Year promises to be another memorable occasion, and with good reason as we will be honouring the memory of Lucas Yoxall (pictured) on Saturday 24 January.

A graduate of the youth section, Lucas sadly left us at the peak of his powers in 2024, but he has never been forgotten at the club, and one of the revamped changing rooms bears a plaque with his name.

It will a day of much banter and recollection as we sit down for lunch - we will be meeting at 11.45 with a view of sitting down at 12.30 – but, above all, we will be honouring the memory of Lucas’s life by sharing the memories.

The lunch will also coincide with the Counties Two Middlesex league clash against Old Actonians. The game kicks off at 2pm.

Given that demand is likely to be high, you’re advised to book ASAP. Bookings can be either individual or you can book a table. This can be done by sending an e-mail to stephenrenny@blueyonder.co.uk.

(Junior section January 11) Following a successful pitch inspection, the table topping U16s will host Hemel Hempstead. The home league game kicks off at 10.50am.

You will also be able to catch a glimpse of the Senior Academy side. As the joint leaders of the Herts-Middlesex Colts Division Five league entertain Chess Valley in a friendly (11.10am kick-off).
