MARCH 13-15: AN EXCITING FEW DAYS IN PROSPECT

(March 13) These are exciting times at the club and the appearance of the Women’s Rugby World Cup trophy at Donkey Lane on Friday March 13 (as of 6pm) rather sets the tone for the weekend.

The Enfield Tigers and the Finchley U18s 'Barbarians team will also go head-to-head as of 7pm.

(March 14) It’s, of course, the finale of the Six Nations, and with three teams in the mix for the title, it couldn’t have been scripted any better.

The club (bar open) will be open and, of course, all three games will be screened live at the clubhouse, namely Ireland v Scotland (2.10 pm), Wales v Italy (4.40pm), and, of course, Le Crunch' between France and England (8.10pm).

(March 15) The Senior Academy have an away friendly against Finchley pencilled-in. The game kicks off at noon and the address of our opponents is Summers Lane N12 0PD.

Mother’s Day is also a busy occasion for the minis with the U8s and the U12s both involved in home games against Woodford.

The U10s will also be enjoying home comforts as they will be involved in a tri-tournament comprising teams from Woodford and Saracens.

The U7s, U9s and U11s will be heading in the opposite direction as they make the short haul trip down the A406 to play Woodford.

The address of Woodford RFC is Highams, High Road, Woodford Green, Essex, IG8 9LB.

The U16s have a training morning planned.

I'm reliably informed that the U13s intended fixture against Saracens has been postponed at the request of the opposition, and replaced by a training session.

This will be updated as more information becomes available.
