Summer is well and truly upon us, and the new season is fast approaching. People have been working hard to finish the clubhouse extension and refurbishment, and I cannot wait for you all to come see and enjoy the fruits of their labour.

There will be an opening weekend, Friday 5th to Sunday 7th September, where events are planned and everyone is welcome to pop into the clubhouse and understand what work has gone on.

Friday 5th is an opportunity for the Club to acknowledge and thank everyone who helped make the project possible. Saturday 6th sees two youth section matches played in the morning (11 am kick off – all welcome) when the boys academy host Cheshunt RFC and the U16’s Tigers welcome Welwyn. This is followed by two senior matches at 3pm, where our 1st XV men’s team take on Harrow and our 1st XV women’s team play their first ever match, against Finchley. Please come down to cheer them on.

Sunday 7th is for family celebrations, our youth section will have training, the under 15’s boys play Wanstead RFC at 11 am and a BBQ will follow.
