As we approach a new season the Club would like to announce news regarding a new and exciting project to further improve our facilities.

The Club has accepted an invitation to participate in an RFU programme to floodlight match pitches and specifically our first team pitch adjacent to the clubhouse.

This week the Club submitted a planning application to Enfield Council to install the new floodlights next summer, delivering many benefits for the Club and the wider community we serve.

As a training facility we will extend our capacity, improve the player experience, better manage the playing surfaces and host mixed sessions.

Friday and midweek fixtures under lights will generate a unique atmosphere for all age groups and teams to organise and showcase events, junior festivals, tournaments and league matches creating a dynamic social calendar attracting families, friends and the wider membership. This will deliver essential funds for the club and strengthen our player recruitment and retention.

Friday night will be club night!!

The Club has received generous Legacy Sponsorship and indicative Grants and Loans from the RFU to fund the project to secure the unanimous support of the Executive Committee and the Trustees for this exciting project.

The proposal will be presented in detail at a Club General Meeting to secure Membership Approval to progress the project. More details will follow with the date and time of the General Meeting so please keep an eye on your emails and this website.
