NEW SEASON FIXTURES: 2024-25
ENFIELD IGNATIANS are very much in a rebuilding phase as they contemplate life in a new division, Counties Two Herts-Middlesex, and they will begin their campaign with a home derby against Hampstead on September 7, writes Jonathan Landi.
Both clubs were relegated from Counties One Herts-Middlesex last season, with Ignatians winning the away fixture against Hampstead (September), but the boot was on the other foot after the Hammers extracted their revenge in December.
Ignatians' away fixture against Hampstead at the Heath Extension is April 5 next year.
Even closer to home, Ignatians can also contemplate respective home and away fixtures against Saracens Amateurs on September 21 (Donkey Lane) and December 21 (Bramley Road).
Ignatians will also face Harrow on September 14 (away) before entertaining the same opposition at Donkey Lane on December 14.
The blue and golds will also face UCS Old Boys (October 12 and January 11); St Albans (October 19 and January 18); Tabard (October 26 and February 1); Wasps (November 9 and February 15); Old Verulamians (November 11 and March 1); Barnet Elizabethans (November 23 and March 8); and Old Millhillians (December 7 and March 22).
