(Nov 2) The excellent group dynamic within the Senior Academy team was evident as they outpointed visiting Staines 27-17 in a game of uncontested scrums at Donkey Lane.

The hosts ran in five tries in the friendly via Ben M, Josh C (two), Tommy G and Luke R. Ben M also added a conversion.

Celestine was the Man of the Match.

This was the final pipe opener ahead of the first league fixture – away to Aylesbury – on November 16.

Congratulations, too, to Josh C and Jake as both impressed in their age group U17s Middlesex County trials. They will progress to the next stage of the selection process.

The same applies to Emmanuel O. As he was, at time of writing, due to attend a further U18s Middlesex Trial session at the home of Wasps Amateurs RFC at Twyford Avenue.
