(March 21) ENFIELD IGNATIANS are bracing themselves for round three of their Middlesex Shield which comes in the form of the visit of Actonians on Saturday 21 March.

The game kicks off at 2.45pm with the meet time for the players set for 1pm.

The game also coincides with a President’s Lunch (meet time 12.00 to 12.15), and there will be a minute’s silence prior to kick-off which will enable club members to honour the memory of the late Richie Clifford (pictured).

Actonians finished a place ahead of Ignatians in fifth before the league split in two, with the blue and golds losing the away leg (38-7 in November), before redressing the balance following a 24-17 home win in January.

The squad has been chosen and is: Alfie Fordham*, Cairo Sango*, Rondel Bernard, Ed Barker, Emmanuel Okafor*, Jack O’Toole (VC)*, Daniel Shaw, Ken Carroll, William Bruce*, Matt Pollard, Henry Sibley*, Liam Horn* (Cpt), Chris Langan, Adam Moorley, Seyi Adeosun*, Aiden Bellinghan, Caolan Davey*, Carl Asare-Anderson* (18).

(March 22 Juniors/Minis) The title-winning U16s will be embarking on their pre-Easter tour to Kent (March 27-30) shortly, but before then they have a home warm-up game against higher league opposition, namely Hitchin. The game kicks off at 11.00.

The Senior Academy, U13s and minis all have training mornings booked at Donkey Lane on Sunday.
