The thirds were subjected to a torrid afternoon at Donkey Lane and were run ragged by a very slick and young Biggleswade IIs outfit.

The visitors were 24-0 to the good at the break but it got worse after the interval and, with the floodgates opening, a heavy defeat was the natural product of a one-sided contest, in which experienced forward, Bori Moll, found himself playing on the wing.

Still, it wasn't all doom and gloom and some good individual performances from the likes of Miles Wotherspoon and David Togher helped lighten the mood. There's work to be done gentlemen.
