The threes stumbled to the heaviest defeat of the season against a very well drilled Tring outfit, whose first team has level five aspirations and put 90 points on Sudbury the same day day. The visiting supporting cast was fully in its element, too, and the tries flowed as the blue and golds struggled to cope..
Putting a brave face on events, captain Steve Renny, playing out of position at prop, said: "We manned-up but Tring were far too well-organised and were round the corner before you knew it. They were very well drilled and organised but at least we got three points from the game.
"We're ploughing-on regardless and not forfeiting games and I'm confident that, with players due to come into the fold in the coming weeks, that we can start to turn the corner. We owe it ourselves to do so."
