The second match of the morning was played if anything in even worse conditions, the rain was persistent but so was our effort, once again the opposition were well drilled and passed at ease.
We finally managed to cross the line through Owen Loveday which was no more than we deserved. There were several periods during the match we were camped on our own line, this seemed to bring out the best in us and we kept them out.
Arthur Bishop-Laggett had an eventful morning making 2 try saving tackles after which he suffered a blow to his jaw through friendly fire, which left him a bit dazed.
On that note we called time on this game and everyone retreated to the warmth of the club house.
Thanks once again to all players, parents and supporters of both teams for turning out on such a lousy day
