Appeal to Boost Crowd Numbers
Big Club Day Out 6 of 8

6. Appeal to Boost Crowd Numbers

We've had a number of coach bookings which is encouraging and, in order to continue the positive trend of getting as many people to Allianz Park as possible on March 1, I'm going to ask every one at the club for one final big push.

A tremendous amount has already been achieved, but as its very much the club's day, and in the interests of adding to the high octane atmosphere, I'm going to ask every member to bring at least five relatives or friends to the game.

It's something which is very achievable but you need to apply yourself to the task.
Besides, you will never have a better arena to showcase your rugby talents, so why not share it with your nearest and dearest?

We also need additional volunteers to step up as regards stewarding and to form part of the clean-up crews (as of 9.30 pm), as we have to leave the stadium in
pristine condition.

Remember, its doesn't have to be for the whole day, but even if you can volunteer for a couple of hours it will be appreciated. So do please contact organiser, Harold Pritchard on harold.pritchard@landg.com.

There is the option of onsite parking but there will be shuttle bus service running from Donkey Lane to Allianz Park throughout the day.

Non-playing members need to book via Nikki Wooster at nikkiwooster@tiscali.co.uk. The cost is £5 per head.
This is, of course, free for players.

I'm also keen to encourage the junior and senior communities to get to know each other better. So, to this end, please note that the £5 price tag isn't exclusively a return ticket.

So for example, members of the minis or junior sections can return to Donkey Lane, before rejoining the Allianz Park party, either in the afternoon or in the evening. For example, the first-team game against Saffron Walden kicks off at 7.30pm.
